Abstract

The project proposed the creation of an Educational Center for students with dyslexia, recognizing the need for an environment adapted to their specific learning needs. Based on the understanding of dyslexia as a neurobiological disorder that affects reading and writing, the project included bibliographic research, consultations with specialized professionals and field data collection. The methodological approach sought to integrate theory and practice to develop an inclusive and effective educational space. The theoretical foundation emphasized the characteristics of dyslexia, the legal rights of affected students and the diagnostic criteria. The importance of transforming the classroom into a "workshop" to stimulate students' intellectual potential was highlighted, ensuring that the environment is conducive to learning. To complement the project, an assessment of students' specific needs, the integration of universal design principles for learning, interdisciplinary collaboration and the implementation of continuous assessment mechanisms were suggested. With these additions, the project aimed to create an inclusive educational environment favorable to the success of students with dyslexia, promoting quality education and respecting the diversity of skills and needs.
